For one of my classes, I conducted a mock social media audit for National Geographic. This experience enhanced my marketing-related mathematical and analytical skills, deepened my understanding of the role of communication professionals, and established my design abilities by learning to create visually engaging content that resonates with National Geographic’s global audience. I explored the benefits and risks of various social platforms, developing unique strategies tailored to each. Additionally, I delved into the ethical challenges of digital communication, encouraging critical thinking and deep analysis. Overall, this experience was not only educational but also enjoyable, preparing me to excel in my career by equipping me with the skills and confidence needed to navigate the dynamic landscape of digital marketing.
